8:00PM - 10:00PM | OPTIONAL EVENT: Direct from Las Vegas, Carpenters Legacy is the award-winning production celebrating the music and legacy of the famed brother-sister duo. Starring Sally Olson as Karen Carpenter and Ned Mills as Richard Carpenter, the show is a re-creation of the Carpenters' 1976 live performances, featuring hits including “We’ve Only Just Begun,” “Yesterday Once More,” “Superstar,” Karen’s drum solo, Richard's classical piano feature, a Spike Jones parody of "Close To You," comedy antics and much more. Kathy Perez and Patty Russell-Rohrer will host a guided walking tour of Downey, highlighting various places of Carpenters history, including the Downey Library, the apartments and other various places of interest. Also during this time our acoustic concert artists will have a chance to rehearse. |

Carpenters Legacy Tour 2.0 (100 Person Limit) - Part One We will board two coaches to visit various locations that are significant to the history of the Carpenters in Downey and surrounding neighborhoods. This will be an exciting experience that you will be sharing with your fellow Carpenters fans/friends. |
12:00PM - 1:00PM | Our first stop is the Newville House! You will be able to experience the location where the Now & Then album cover was taken. We will also gather for a group photo in front of this historic Carpenters location. |
1:00PM - 2:00PM | Lunch at the country’s oldest McDonald’s. (Lunch not included) |
2:00PM - 5:00PM | After lunch we're off to the Carpenters Performing Arts Center. We will have a guided tour of the exhibits and theater at the Center. There you will see Karen's impressive drum set as well as a wall of gold records and awards! Make sure you have your cameras ready! |

7:30PM - 10:00PM | Carpenters: An Acoustic Celebration featuring an array of Carpenters tribute singers sharing the stage for the very first time in a concert that you will always remember. Slated to appear: Michelle Berting Brett, Lisa Budin Price, Tori Holub, Sally Olson with Ned Mills, Judy Pancoast, Lisa Rock, Drew Jansen & Doug McComas (line-up subject to change). The concert will be held at the Downey United Methodist Church. |

10:00AM - 1:30PM | At the Hollywood Walk of Fame, you can visit and pose at the Carpenters’ star that was installed in 1983. You will also have the chance to have lunch (not included) and walk around this iconic location to see what other famous people have stars in this area. |
1:30PM - 2:30PM | From Hollywood, we will travel to Pierce Brothers Valley Oaks-Griffin Memorial. |
2:30PM - 3:30PM | At Pierce Brothers you will be able to pay your respects at Karen's final resting place. |
3:30PM - 5:00PM | We travel back to our hotel. |
6:00PM - 10:00PM | It's just a short walk to the Look Dine-In Cinema where you will be able to enjoy a unique dining experience along with our presentation. You will be able to choose from a menu filled with a variety of options that will be delivered right to your seat! The price of your meal is not included in your registration payment. PLEASE NOTE: A $15.00 person food & beverage minimum is required. A sample menu can be found here! After the meal, we will be showing The Karen Carpenter Story starring Cynthia Gibb, Mitchell Anderson and Louise Fletcher. See it like you've never seen it before... on the BIG screen. After the film, you will be in for a treat with some rare video messages and a Q&A with a surprise guest(s). |

1:00PM - 2:00PM | Carpenters Extreme Trivia / Show & Tell & Sell / Carpenters: Every Album, Every Song Test your knowledge of the Carpenters with fabulous prizes going to the winners! Also, get your wallet out... some of our attendees will be selling Carpenters related items and some will be showing off their prized possessions! We are also excited to announce that author Paul Tornbohm will be on hand to present his new book, Carpenters: Every Album, Every Song. He will have copies available to be purchased and signed. |
2:00PM - 4:00PM | Carpenters: Behind The Music Chris May, coauthor of Carpenters: The Musical Legacy will be joined by renowned Carpenters studio musicians Gayle Levant (harp) and Earle Dumler (oboe and English horn), to talk about some of their fondest memories working with Richard and Karen. There will also be an interactive Q&A session where attendees can ask all of the panelists general and/or technical questions related to the Carpenters and their career. |

The authors will share some behind-the-scenes stories and anecdotes related to what went into the tedious and exhaustive process in a fun and informative discussion you won’t want to miss! |
